The project consisted of 5 animations showing the jobs of the future related to climate protection. We only had 4 weeks to complete it, which is a very fast pace.
Brief
The animations were intended to be very simple to view and to relate aesthetically to the website on which they would eventually be available for watching. They were also to be largely consistent with the previous materials.
Production
After consulting the provided script, we developed a storyboard and prepared a proposal for the style of animation.
All graphic elements, including icons, were individually designed to be fully consistent with previous materials. We decided to use a colour scheme related to the South Baltic Bridge logotype, i.e. green and navy blue and shades of these colours. White was used to complement these colours. We also decided to combine subtitles with iconography, so that the animations are not boring to look at.
Each animation scene was first prepared in static form and approved by the client.
Below you can see an example of the approved scenes for one of the animations on water management.
Most of the animated scenes were created in 2D, but we decided to do some of the work in a combined technique with 3D, such as the globe animations.
Finished project
The entire production of the five animations was very fast, as it only took four weeks, with several people involved. We delivered the entire project on time.
One of the finished animations can be viewed below:
